Benefit Brow Zings – Review

I recently went to a beauty event in House of Fraser and part of that event was tutorials/makeovers by some of the makeup artists there, I went to benefit and had my brows done and my god I don’t think I’m ever going back to not doing my eyebrows!

Benefit Brow Zings in Light, Medium, Dark/Deep | Β£24.50.

In the kit, you get a pigmented wax, natural-shaded powder for setting, tweezers, hard angle brush, blending brush and a mirror. The powder/wax is in whatever shade you chose, mine being Dark/Deep which was a shock to me .. I normally reach for Blonde/Light shades of things but since having my hair dyed chocolate brown they just weren’t good anymore so I can see why she chose dark for me.

As I was getting them done, people were coming over to say how much having my brows done made a difference to my whole appearance and framed my face so much better than my natural brows!

Being naturally blonde, my natural eyebrows are super fair, as you can see in the before and after below:

Now, I tried to re-create her magic at home and above is my attempt, I’m not perfect at doing them and I’m sure I’ll learn different techniques and it will just eventually be easier for me to do them and make them similar (sisters, not twins!).

Even though it isn’t a perfect attempt (the other brow was being a pain in my butt!) I still love the more defined look and I’ll definitely be experimenting with different styles/shapes and probably different products in the coming months!

Do you have any brow recommendations for me?!

  1. Wow your brows look amazing! I’m the opposite and my brows are ridiculously dark and grow so quickly so I’ve never really been interested in Brow Zings but I’m so impressed with how well it works! What a fantastic product!

I really like Maybelline’s Brow Drama if you were looking for a nice brow gel :)
