In my second instalment of the Project Vanity series I’m going to be sorting through my Mascara, Eyeliner & Eyeshadows that I have in my vanity at the moment, I do have some other bits laying around in make-up bags & acrylic muji drawers so I’ll sort through them another time.
While in TK Maxx I spotted this Ciaté nail varnish remover pot for £2.99, I needed some nail varnish remover anyway so I figured Ciaté is a brand I trust anyway so it might be good.
Upon further inspection, I noticed it said it was mint chocolate scented, again Ciaté killing it with the scented nail products lately! So I was even more excited about using it, as I hate the smell of normal nail varnish remover or acetone, it’s way too overpowering.
I’m a huge fan of Ciaté, and I’ve also been looking for a new top coat as I’m falling out of love with my Seche Vite, it shrinks my nail varnish back, looking like I’ve not painted the edge of my nail. So when I saw this in TK Maxx for £3.99 rather than the £9 retail price, I just had to give it a try.
At first, I thought it was a regular top coat but after looking it up on the Ciaté website I noticed it claimed to have a ‘seriously summery fragrance’ which made me even more excited! I love the smell of coconut; it reminds me of holidays and summer.
Welcome to my new series, Project Vanity.
In this series I’m going to be sorting through all my beauty products that are stored in my vanity table as they get neglected and I rarely use the products stashed away in there, I’ll be throwing out old products and giving away the decent, barely unused ones to family.
