So, being a blogger or to be honest, someone who purchases makeup on a regular basis plus all the freebies you can get online, you end up with a lot of samples..
I thought I would start reviewing the samples to see if they are worth buying the full size product as a lot of the time the full size products can be expensive.
The packaging for this mascara is different to other samples I’ve received as they usually come in a hard tube, this one came in a sort of flexible squeezy lipgloss type packaging which I’d never seen before for a mascara (Maybe I just haven’t tried many?!)
The brush didn’t look exciting to me at all, just looked like a standard mascara wand that I’m used to from the drugstore, hard bristles, lots of them and tapered at the end.
However.. The formula was impressive, it held a curl for 8+ hours as I had it on all day for testing purposes, didn’t flake off at all and didn’t irritate my eyes.
It didn’t clump, left me with length and a bit of volume, separated my eyelashes perfectly and I think this mascara looks natural, it would work for a ‘no make-up, make-up’ look!
So my final verdict? If I was feeling particularly spendy one day maybe I would buy the full size but I do get the same effect from some Drugstore mascaras (see my review on some here, I found the result similar to the Lash Sensational by Maybelline.
